The Carbon Offroad Scout Pro RS Series winches are built for competition and extreme high-line-speed operations. The RS9-S (Short Drum) combines massive motor output with a compact chassis for applications where space is limited but maximum speed is required.

This listing is for the winch unit only (with synthetic rope attached). Accessories such as remotes, isolator switches, hooks, external cabling, fairleads, and mounting hardware are not included and must be sourced separately. This is ideal for custom racing rigs or tight bumper extractions requiring a high-performance bare unit.
Overview
The RS9-S utilizes the shortened 2023 Version 3 winch chassis. By utilizing a narrow drum, this winch fits into tight mounting locations where a full-sized winch cannot. Despite its compact footprint, it is powered by a massive 8.0HP motor and a performance-tuned 80:1 gear ratio, delivering blistering line speeds.
The RS9-S comes spooled with 24m (80ft) of 8mm high-density pre-stretched premium UHMWPE synthetic rope, boasting a massive 14,000lb minimum breaking strain. Because of the extended length of the 8.0HP motor, please consult the technical drawings to ensure clearance in your specific winch mount.
